“ 1st time coming here! I got the It’s Always Honey on a sesame seed roll and my partner got the Classic Jawn with cooper sharp cheese we both got witout fried onions. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was also nice my only complaint is that I didn’t get mine wit fried onions and that I didn’t order the fried pickles. Next time and there will be a next time I will definitely get the fried pickles and I will try the Shroom steak wit fried onions. ”
“ We came here on the way to a baseball game, Very glad we stopped here. The interior was nice and clean, and though some of the chairs were stacked on the tables, there was outdoor seating. We all got cheese steaks for around 14 each, and they were all about a foot long. The food was amazing, genuinely one of the best cheese steaks I have had! The fries were also nicely salted, and if I ever come back in the area, I am definitely stopping in for a meal. ”

“ Spenny's really came through with 100 delicious hoagies (3 kinds) for our rail charter from Outer Station on 4/5/25. They got up very early, delivered in plenty of time, with perfectly made and wrapped sandwiches that got raves from our riders, plus chips, waters, and cookies for all. A fair price and, most important, the rolls were excellent! As a Philadelphia native I appreciated that. The cafe itself is clean and charming inside, friendly staff. We will do another big order soon for our May event, the Schuylkill Navigation Bicentennial 2025 ”
“ Nice, low-key Philly themed place with Philly foodstuffs. Staff were all friendly. Quick service. The cheese steak was a little different than what I normally dig, but was delicious. You absolutely MUST try the "pickle fries" - they are not frickles but rather fries with pickle/dill flavouring and an accompanying cheese sauce - absolute perfection. Staff even checked in on us for drinks etc. Don't let the humble exterior dissuade you from trying it. Philly hospitality and food! ”
